HypnoBirthing Classes

 

Hypnobirthing classes are held approximately every two months in the greater Wellington area.

 

The classes run for 21/2 hours, 5 weeks in a row.

 

You will find that the classes are relaxed and informal with all members participating in discussions and techniques. Class members often stay in touch after their children are born.

 

You will learn;

  • Relaxation and self-hypnosis to eliminate the fear and tension that cause a long labour and pain.
  • Special breathing techniques to produce a shorter, more comfortable labour.
  • That pain need not accompany normal birthing.
  • How the mother's body is perfectly designed to work in harmony with nature throughout labour.
  • Techniques of deep relaxation to use during and between uterine surges.
  • The importance of prenatal and perinatal bonding.

 

A break for a cup of tea is included.
